Oversaturated, yes, but I like it, and that's all that matters. Like this shot taken last weekend on the Talimena drive in Oklahoma. Now I have reverted back to my roots, using Photoshop CS2 and other programs to try and manipulate images to make them look how I want, not necessarily technically accurate, but trying to improve the scene to make it look the way it looks in my mind. This way of thinking opened up my mind to a greater appreciation other folks' work, photos and painting. Released in June 1991 as the first 24 bit image editor for Windows it was bought the same year by the Aldus Prepress group.

Aldus PhotoStyler is a graphics software developed by the Taiwanese company Ulead. The software is periodically scanned by our antivirus system. Then went to a creative phase as you describe, visualizing as though my eyes are a camera taking photos, different angles, different light. The version of the Mac application you are about to download is 6.8.5. Went though a long phase of pixel peeping, improving my technological skills. Outgrew it in 2 months and moved to a 10D, 20D, 1D, 1DMKII, 30D, 5D, 1DMKIIn and an assortment of L glass. Bought an S50 and wow, what a big difference! I could see there is a future possible that wasn't there before.
I was disappointed in the results but technology marched on. Years went by and cameras got better and more affordable, first digital was an Olympus D340R. Scanners did a poor job so it was mainly drawing from scratch. Back in 1990 I thought that using Photostyler was the coolest thing, I really enjoyed trying to manipulate images to make them look how I wanted.
